Wedding Cake Ruffles

You speak to any wedding cake decorator and one thing they fear is the dreaded ruffle! It looks so beautiful but boy does it take an age to get right. Each piece of sugarpaste is rolled, cut, frilled, folded and finally stuck to the cake. Even the last part can be tricky as you want it looking random and not too tight knit either. It can take some time. However after the latest cake I can announce that I actually don't mind them. In fact I find them quite calming. I must be a nutty cake decorator hahahaha 
After my latest cake I sat back and looked at the effect and I fell in love with ruffles all over again. So if you want a cake with ruffles I really don't mind!
